FreeRouting
A free autorouter for printed circuit boards. It reads a Specctra design file (dsn) and writes a Specctra session file (ses). Traces can be routed at 90 degrees, at 45 degrees, or at a free angle.
Alfons Wirtz developed FreeRouting in 2004, stopped the work in 2008, and published the source under the GPL in 2014. Since 2015 juspertor has maintained the program and included it with the LayoutEditor.
The current version, 2.0.1, is a native C++ program with a Qt interface for Linux, Windows and macOS. It is installed as freeRouting next to the LayoutEditor and can also run on its own. The source code is available as freeRouting-2.0.1.tar.gz on the changelog page, under the GPL-3 licence.
